Born and raised in Laredo, Iliana Medina Chandarlis has been an athlete throughout her life. When she broke her leg at age 15, she experienced firsthand how physical therapy could help someone return to movement. That experience became the beginning of her calling.
A physical therapist since 2004, Iliana brings experience in orthopedic facilities, Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, hospitals, and home health. At Apollo Rehabilitation Center, her care is centered on listening and getting to the root cause of a patient’s pain.
“Physical therapy has never been just a job. It’s my passion and my calling.”
Her mission is to inspire, motivate, and challenge patients through personalized care, effective treatment, and education. She believes patients—and families, when appropriate—should feel involved throughout the recovery process.
